Ko’s Journey: Best Academic Gaming Solution - 2012 EdTech Digest Awards


Ko's Journey was named the 2012 Cool Tool Award Winner for Academic Gaming Solution by EdTech Digest. The educational online math game was created and distributed by Imagine Education of Taos. Ko’s Journey is a 12 hour web-based math program that targets the most important concepts of 5th – 7th grade math.

Northern New Mexico Connect and Partners Celebrate Collaboration

Northern New Mexico Connect and Partners Celebrate CollaborationSANTA FE, New Mexico, November 10, 2011—Over one hundred people packed the Santa Fe Complex to network and celebrate an especially productive year for community partnerships.

The primary sponsor of the event was Northern New Mexico Connect, the economic development initiative of Los Alamos National Security, LLC (LANS), and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Northern New Mexico Connect hosts an annual celebration to recognize local companies and entrepreneurs that have received assistance from the program. This year, the spotlight was on partner organizations that work with Northern New Mexico Connect to assist these companies.
